Manufacturer Representatives focused in Architectural and Building Owner Product Solutions
Serving Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana
Brett and Scott met in 2012 while Brett was working as a Field Service Rep and Scott as an Independent Manufactures Rep. Working together over the next few years, Scott and Brett bonded over their dedication to family, friends and work. Scott’s vast design knowledge and history in both the general construction sector as well as the roofing industry combined with Brett’s knowledge of roofing components and products and how they are installed made for a perfect team. In 2017 an independent manufacture representative opportunity presented itself and Rocky Mountain Reps, Inc was created. With the success of the previous rep group and the relationships Scott and Brett built in the industry along with their aspirations, their goal is to elevate the manufactures rep business.
Rocky Mountain Reps Inc. is the premier Division 7 manufactures rep group of the Rocky Mountains. By staying current with industry knowledge and providing excellent customer service, Rocky Mountain Reps Inc. will always be your best choice.
Scott was born and raised in Westminster, Colorado just north of Denver. Scott grew up in a long tenured independent manufacture rep family with a father who was a rep for 25 years. Scott graduated from Northglenn High School in 2004 and headed north to Fort Collins, Colorado to attend and play hockey for Colorado State University. In 2008, he graduated with a bachelor’s degree with a focus in Construction Management and went to work for a General Contractor that specialized in government work, they were headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colorado. After spending six years as a Project Manager, Estimator, Corporate Scheduler, Technical Writer and helping to Manage the Pre-Construction efforts he was asked to join Roofing Resources, Inc. a Colorado base Independent Manufacture Rep firm. In 2017 he branched out and started Rocky Mountain Reps Inc.
Scott has now spent the last 5 years as an independent rep with a focus in commercial roofing throughout Colorado, Wyoming and Montana. In addition, he has a strong background in the general contracting world that included four and a half of his years managing the Roofing IDIQ contract at the United States Air Force Academy that was a 5-year contract worth up to $25 million.
Brett is from Kansas City and spent his childhood and teenage years in the suburbs of KC. After graduating high school, Brett attended EMT school at Colorado Mountain College. He continued his education at Western State College of Colorado and gained a bachelor’s degree in Recreation/Business in 2006. Growing up in the construction industry, Brett worked on the roof and in the heavy equipment fields throughout his life. With experience on the roof, Brett went to work in the renewable energy field installing Photovoltaic systems on a variety of commercial and residential projects. Brett then worked for Carlisle Construction Materials as a Field Service Representative in 2012 where he inspected and investigated up to 30 commercial roofs per week. Brett became an expert in commercial roofing design and installation. While working as a Product Specialist for Carlisle Syntec Systems, the opportunity to start an independent rep firm with Scott Patz presented itself and Rocky Mountain Reps Inc. was born.
At Rocky Mountain Reps Inc. Brett works hard to represent their Division 7 manufactures. Working with Architects, Building Owners and Contractors, Brett focuses on the needs of the clients by building strong relationships based on trust and integrity.
Like so many others in recent years, Arik moved to the Denver area in search of an active-outdoor lifestyle. Originally from a small town in central Wisconsin, he completed his degree at the University of Wisconsin and was promptly recruited to Green Bay as a manufacturers sales representative. Arik spent the early part of his career consulting as a manufacturers rep alongside contractors and distributors in order to bring transparency and results to facility managers in the design community. His work ethic and results were recognized and Arik was quickly promoted to the NYC/North Jersey territory. While there, his skills were sharpened by New York’s competitive environment. His peers and superiors commend his integrity and attention to detail in assisting architects, designers, facility owners and managers in the design and utilization of their interior space.
Arik brings his experience as a manufacturer representative and client success management to Rocky Mountain Reps and is excited to grow and develop his network in our market.
Born and raised in rural Western New York Jake attended Cedarville University in Ohio for Business Management. After securing his degree he started his career in the Operations Analyst Development program at JP Morgan Chase & Co. Moving into an associate role he worked on multiple projects ranging from process improvement to crisis management. A desire for a more face to face role pushed him to seek a job outside the walls of a cubicle. In 2019 he started working in Kentucky as an independent sales representative for Firestone Building Products as well as other complementary roofing product manufacturers such as Georgia-Pacific and Metal-Era. Yearly hunting, hiking, and snowboarding trips to the Western states developed a desire to move closer to those activities permanently. With a proven track record of success he is eager to put his skills and knowledge to use with the RMR team.
